I'm going to be creating a pretty large website. I was wondering if there's a downside to simply putting all new tables into the supplied aspnetdb database. With at least two tables er customer, I know it'll be a bit messy but in terms of performance, will be be just as good to have them all in one DB or is it better to spread them out? Are there any other things that need to be taken into account when making this decision? Something like web hosts only allow a single DB or something?
I'm new to web dev and large database apps so I appreciate any thoughts on this. I don't want to go ahead programming without finding out about this because it has such a huge impact on the website. Thanks folks :)
