Hello Everyone,

Our client has one internal website in jsp on which they want to publish a link for another web site which is developed in asp.net. Now the problem is that both web site has user authentication (logins) but ideally it should be one in the main website which is in jsp. So how can we pass the same username to asp.net site so that it need not validate again.

1. We can pass the username in querystring as it goes in plain text and that can be hacked by another.

2. We can encrypt/decrypt the username and share in the website. But client does not want since they dont do a customization as both are product web sites.

Can anyone provide the smart solution so that both web sites need not work on it for customize solution. Is there any way that can take care of it automarically instead of doing some mere changes in providing link?

Any suggestion is appreciated.

Kiran
