How to change date and days according to month and year

i devlop one tabuler structure for displaying employee monthelly attendence in that top two row display the days and date of month .
but in each month the days will come in diffrent date and in also year so how can i change the date and days according to month and year for jan to dec .
i want to show date 1 to 31 and days mon to sun .for each month.
