Hi,
I'm trying to send an image embedded in an automated email with ASP.NET. When I send the image embedded it doesn't work properly. On mozilla thunderbird (which is the mail program I use), the HTML mail shows up fine with all the formatting and colours, the image, comes up in the right place but i cant actually see it, it has an icon at the top that looks like a piece of paper ripped in half.  When I view my email in gmail though, the image shows up, and I can see it at the very beginning of the email, but the email has no HTML formatting. I know gmail does'nt allow alot of the HTML formatting, but is there a way to get this to work for thunderbird and other mail programs?
<img src='" + "cid:backIMG" +@"' id='bg' /> Thats what the tag for the image is, it also has the following css properties
#bg ...
