I have a unique requirement. Want to place a dll that is allowed to be downloaded by client(kind of managed activeX). I want to place in bin. The problem is when ever a request for bin comes Forbidden handler is attached to it. What I did was created a handler, that checked whether the request for that perticular dll, if yes, then allow it to be downloaded else return HTTP status code 403. I set the path (in config section for handler) as "*bin*" but it did not worked. The reason could be Forbidden Handler had already been attached to the request, that's why my handler was not invoked. ASP.Net has this plug and play feature, I am sure its possible but am not sure about how to do it
