Hi Everyone, MS recently posted CAT .NET, which is a fantastic (and free) code analysis tool. However, its still in BETA, and its memory leakage issues pose a usability problem (the problem being that its too painful to use against large projects).
My software development team is looking for a good tool to use for code-analysis, and in particular security analysis. FxCop seems nice, but are there any other tools out there that you recommend? Additionally, are there any sites that allow the download of FxCop custom rules? I'm looking for more elaborate FxCop Security rules, if they're even out there..
