I am trying to upgrade a SQL Server 2005 Express named instance from Service Pack 2 to Service Pack 3. There is also a SQL 2000 MSDE instance with Service Pack 4, on the same host. The host is running Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition
with Service Pack 2. I ran into the two errors below near the end of the process. There are two options, RETRY and CANCEL, with the error. Selecting RETRY on the first error, leads to the second error below. After the failure, the instance shows as SP3, although
the process failed.
