Please forgive me if I have posted this question to the wrong forum.

I am writing a software-as-a-service (SaaS) ASP.NET application and I need to charge customers on a per-PC basis (not on a per-user basis).  I am looking for a reliable methodology/mechanism that can identify each unique PC using my application.  I thought about querying and storing each PCââ?¬â?¢s IP address in my database, but given that the customers I'm targeting connect to the Internet via an ISPââ?¬â?¢s DHCP server, using the non-static IP address is obviously not viable.
