configuring vis(optimal idm) server with Active directory and sql server

Hi frnd,
I have requirement of authentication with user in Active directory and sql server. So I thought of using VIS server, which is on top of AD and sql server, but i need to know how to configuring VIS with AD and sql server.
Please hlep me  if any have information on this. If you did not understand my requirement, please let me know.
