Hello everyone. SQL noob here.
I'd like to learn SQL and I'm currently swithering over learning MSSQL using Express 2012 or learning MySQL.
Regarding the former, can you recommend a good thorough beginner-level text that will get me started? It must cover Express 2012 (2008 at an absolute push).
While I'm a newcomer to serious SQL-wrangling I am comfortable with MS OSes and have experience of MS Access. My professional background is in MS server infrastructure integration and deployment, so I am comfortable with technical learning.
Thanks in advance,
J
