For several months the Microsoft automated update has tried to install KB2463332 and fails each time. I have looked at other similar issues on this forum but haven't found one with the exact symptoms.
Over a year ago I reinstalled SQL Server 2005 Express edition and the instance name seemed to change (I don't understand what that is) and am suspecting that the install does not recognize something in my SQL setup.
SQL Server works fine otherwise; I just want to either fix the problem or prevent the system from trying to install this particular fix because it takes 10to 15 minutes to shut down my computer every day and it is anoying.
