I am trying to enhance a web application and allow clients to upload information via a webservice. The problem I am facing is that I have no idea how to authenticate them. It is very important that this is secured, and access is only allowed to authenticated users.
My app is using asp.net 2.0, c#, and I have pointed the forms authentication membership provider to sql 05. The entire site is also required to use SSL.
