linkbutton in a repeater control

hi

i have a repeater control in an aspx page, which is databound in the pageload . this repeater also have linkbuttons which gets displayed as per the datas in the table.

now i would like to change the background color of a  linkbutton, which is displayed first in the list,  whenever the page is accessed.

it would be kind  if anyone could help me out in this.
