Not exactly what I'm asking. I'm trying to pass information in such a way that hides a little bit of the underlying implementation and avoids repeating the get/set logic.
I have an object that is being passed as such
MyObject{/* some private types */; public string value { get{ /* calculate string from private types*/} set {/* take string to set private types*/}}/* other stuff */}
No problems, everything works. Now, the same types/logic needs to be in part other objects as well. Is there a way to avoid BOTH writing get/set in each object AND avoiding an extra level in the client-side javascript?
That is I'd like to be able to create (C#) class ContainingObject{public MyObject value;/* w/o get/set */...} <-> (javascript string) passedobject.value [instead of passedobject.value.value]. If this is possible, can you point me in the correct direction?
