I am having a problem I have seen others post about however I have not seen a root cause identified.
The problem is that the click event of the last button clicked is firing if the user hits refresh on their browser.
My intent before writing this post was to create a small page to reproduce this error (my page is really long) however I am unable to
reproduce this behavior in my test page.
The scenario for the broken page is this:
User clicks a button (in my case they upload an image)
page load executes
click handler executes as it should
User clicks browser refresh button
page load executes
click hander executes again - it should not. Note that click handler is not called from page load
Can anyone tell me how to reproduce this? Also if you have a solution I'd love to hear it.
