I have two servers running the same site, using forms authentication under framework 1.1.
Both have the same machine.config files with autogenerated keys. Both have application pool property set to shut down the worker process after 20 minutes. This is not a web farm or garden.
One server keeps the same keys all the time, and the other regenerate new keys after beeing idle for 20 minutes.
I tested with explicit keys in machine.config and it works. But it should work with autogenerated keys. What is causing this regeneration of keys or why does the first server keep thees keys?
