I have just started learning web site creation and ASP.NET/VB
in particular. I have created a two column site with a tab container in one
column contain three tabs. This page is to contain news articles a bit like
many media sites such as 'The Times Online' Each tab will contain the news from
a given time period e.g. Today, This Week, This month, they will contain
hyperlinks/controls which when clicked will cause the other column to be
populated with the particular story. I have read so many documents and books
but so far I am not sure how to get started. The articles should automatically
roll off the tabs as they age. Can anyone give me a broad outline as to what
controls/methods to use? Just a few pointers to which controls/technologies I
should be looking at.
