Hi all,

This is a question I see all over the place - but no one answer. I just need a simple way of sending 2 string parameters to a web service, that returns a boolean value.

I found this: http://www.w3schools.com/webservices/ws_use.asp which is the closest I found. But unfortunately, it requires a form post.

Let's say the service is located at www.someserver.com/aservice.asmx; and within that is SomeMethod which takes two string parameters called string1 and string2.

Now, I have a simple HTML webpage, on a linux server somewhere else.

What is the exact syntax to pass two string variables in a javascript function to SomeMethod(string1,string2), and get the boolean value it returns?

Thanks,

Denvas ...
