I am writing a C# object to connect to an MDB and retrieve the contents of a table. The data in the table is encrypted so I can?t sort the contents with the Select statement. After the DataTable object is built, I want to sort the contents. So, I create a DataView object and supply a sort field name in the constructor. This has no effect on the DataView as it remains unsorted.
I have tried using the SORT property of the DataView object to no avail.
Does the DataView need to be the DataSource for another object (like a DataGrid) in order for the data to be sorted?
How do I tell the DataView to sort the data? ...
