is it possible to get dictionary value ?

I created a dictionary at code behind, like:
Dictionary<string, string> d = new Dictionary<string, string>();
d.Add("First", "1");
d.Add("Second", "2");


What I want to do is get d's value on  .aspx

I can get the value in plain HTML like <label><%= d["First"] %></label>
but is there any way I can get the value in a control at page, I have no idea what should be the syntax
like <asp:Label id="lbl" ruant="server" text='<%@ d["First"] %>'></asp:Label> won't work
I can assign the text value from code behind, just curious is there a way to do it by html other code?
