I am trying to display content from a web page inside a ' window' on a form using VWD EXpress 2008. ( Something equivalent to the Web Browser control in VB 2008.)
I have discovered how to do this by using frames but keep seeing references on forums, etc that frames are no longer considered good practice, but presumably frames are going to be supported by most browsers for some time to come. (My test works OK in Safari and Chrome for example.)
So the question is :
If I don't use frames is there any methodology in VWD 2008 that's equivalent in effect to the VB Web Browser control?
Also, if anyone can provide VWD (VB) code to change the Frame url source at run time that would be much appreciated.
