I am trying to avoid querying code tables repeatedly. When the master page loads, I query the tables, make datasets, and try to fill arrays with the values in those datasets. I'm trying to declare those arrays as application variables. When I try to response.write() a value from one of those arrays, I get a compiler error saying the array wasn't declared.
I tried just doing something simpler when the master page loads
application("tryav")="testvalue"
response.write(tryav)
and still get an compiler error saying tryav is not declared.
------What am I doing wrong?
