The PARSENAME function returns the specified part of an object name.
The parts of an object that can be retrieved are
a) object name when object_piece = 1
b) owner name when object_piece = 2
c) database name when object_piece = 3
d) server name when object_piece = 4

So it goes like [server name].[database name].[owner name]. [object name]

Since in the example given, the value of object_piece is = 2 , so the output will be nice
