Windows Phone App Studio beta is a web-based app creation tool designed to help people easily bring an app idea to life by applying text, web content, images, and design concepts to a rich set of customizable templates.



Introduction


This article explains about how to create a windows phone app using the Microsoft "Windows Phone App Studio Beta". Windows Phone App Studio is about giving everyone the ability to create an app, regardless of experience. It also can radically accelerate workflow for all developers.


Lets start creating the app using the following procedure
  • Step 1 Open the App Studio web page by going to this link: http://apps.windowsstore.com/




   If you are an existing Microsoft user then click on start building and sign in.(using Hotmail,outlook,Microsoft account)


Click on Create App as shown below this will lead to select a suitable Template for our App.





Select the template as shown below here i am selecting the company template..or else we can also create an empty app








Our app is created. Now we need to add our data in that application.

Now lets enter your App title, description and logo. We can also change the language if we want.



After filling the details  click on Next 


Lets configure our App content. Before we do this let us understand various data sources and data sections available in next part.
