Comparison in SSIS while data transformation

How do we compare the data in SSIS.

I have a flat file and I need to compare the data with a database of sqlserver and if there are existing records I need to update the data. Also I need to insert the new items.

How can we do this?

0	There are many ways to do that. But as for me i will first take the data from the flat file and add it to a temp table and Compare the data and after that do the update. This can be done in one sp. you can just import the data into a temp as i said and call a sp to update and drop the table when you are done.
