Ajax update panel is not working in live server

Hi...

Iam using .net3.5, in my project i have used ajax update panels for stop page refresh, but this is works in local server,but does not works in live server, i was trying with triggers also, but when any event is performed again the page is reloading, and i am using google chrome browser.
Please suggest any better solution for this problem.

is the Live Server a public address ?

Yes...it is a public address,but it is my company address, when i was using in my local server it will works, but same project uploads into into a live server, it will not works, again the page is refreshing when an event is firing.....
Please find any solution for this....
