how to replace the table columns when uploading excel sheet?

hi,i have a application in which need to upload a excel sheet into database and retrieve that from database,for that i have tried and its success,for this i maintain the columns of table and excel columns are same,but now my requirement is,when i upload a excel sheet into database table,table columns and data should be replace with the new excel sheet,how it is possible?,
