Hello all,

We need to convert an existing project developed in Adobe Flex using ActionScript (creating custom components) to HTML5. Is there any tool that can help us do the conversion?

Regards,

Siitesh

Hello Vishal/Chandu

I tried using Sencha Architect to convert the ActionScript to HTML5 but as the custom component created is slighly complex
public class BaseDataGrid extends AdvancedDataGrid implements IComponent, IModuleAwareComponent

the conversion did not occur since the imports too were quite lengthy.

We dont have any flash content to migrate for which I was trying SWFtoHTML5 tool but it didnt serve my purpose.

Thanks for the link though. Trying to ping the technical team at Sencha now to probably have a look at the snippet what we are developing.

Rgds,

Siitish

Nope. If your Flex App is big, you better do manually, or hire a team to do it for you.as 2java.biz, adobecrash.com or flex2html.com

There're lots of issues coming around Flex/Flash lately.
Can't imagine what is going to happen when they cease the support...

Here's a nice and precise article i found, that might help to figure some
staff.
