Database design of Examination system!

Hi,
I am asked to develope an Examination System for a college.It's user interface will enable the user to enter student details,class,year etc. and after that based on his stream subjects will come where his secured marks are entered and saved.At last after all marks are entered then the user can search students name or roll no and view the mark details.

I don't know how to design the database.please help me out on these database design of examination system.
