Windows system Tasks using jQuery

Can we get the control over the windows system related tasks using jQuery?

Jquery runs on the client side , so it might not be possible to do that.

Hi Vuyiswamb,

Thank you for the response.

My concern is to get the client Windows System tasks in my DotNet application. Do you have any idea on how this can be achieved?

I have tried one way By creating a Java Applet (This returns me the complete Windows tasks in the client machine) and calling the same in my DotNet application. But in this approach there are so many issues like the .Jar file needs to be signed and it should have Java enabled browser and all.

Main motto of this requirement is to block the access to the application if certain software's are running. So to get those details i require windows system tasks related to the client machine.
