DateTime Year stores different,Sql server 2008 R2

Hai

Sql server 2008 R2 as my sql server .

I am saving value from datetimepicker which gives date only .While i am viewing in db it shows an year 1905-07-10 instead of 2015-07-10 .

Front end-C# winform
How can i resolve it

0	You will need to format the date before sending to save into the database. If you are getting only date, format with "yyyy-MM-dd" and then send to save into the database and it would work.
