how to access database from api

Hello ,

I am working on ProductCompareSite for Mobile client requirement is all database fill from api single click
i m confused what r possible ?.which type of api used in website and which type access data from api.

plz help me

Here is the article http://www.dotnetfunda.com/articles/show/3076/consuming-restful-web-api-in-aspnet-mvc that help you to know how to consume Web API in the server side. Once you have the data at the server side either in DataTable or a collection. Put them into your own database and compare them. In general, on click of the button you would be accessing all the APIs you have one by one and put them into a collection and then compare and show the result.
