How to maintain session in multiple tabs in same browser ?

I think you can do it by following steps -
1. When login for 1st time store user id, logged in ip and logged in browser in some table tbltemp
2. If a person tries to visit website then 1st check whether there is any entry with same ip + browser if yes then user is already logged in
3. For session to clear you should call log out on beforeunload in client

By using session you can achieve that and session mode should be inproc, so that when you close browser session will be cleared.
