Edit button Problem in gridview

hi

i have a page it contains a dropdown list to display departments.when user selects a department i wrote selected changed evnmt to dispaly corresponidng departments using gridview..

my problem is in gridview i given a chance to user to edit employee details..my problem is when i clicked edit button the corresponding item template is not raising when i double clicked it executing..

plz help me in solving the problem

0	Hi, are you using EditItemTemplate for editing purpose? if yes then have u re-assign datasource in RowEditing Event? plz try to assign datasource on RowEditing event also.
