Hi All,

We are using Visual Studio 2005. Could anybody help me to send notification mail to the sender when the server is down?
Any kind of suggestion is appreciable.

Thanks,
Tarak

You can use third party tools that hits your server from different locations of the world and notify you if your server is down.

I got some links by googling http://www.poweradmin.com/ServerMonitor/ or http://www.websitepulse.com/

Select by researching about them.
Thanks

Thanks for your response. Is there any chance to notify with an email without using third party tool? If we have a chance, Could you tell me how to do it?
