hi,

You can include the one column for status in table design.

you just set status for the occupied and vaccant room

Example:

if occupied room means u set status =1
vaccant room means u set status=0

Darasimi ,

No need to REMOVE or PUT BACK rooms in the database. This operation will be tedious. The better option is to create another column that can be name like "OccupiedStatus" .

while no body is occupied in the room set the OccupiedStatus as '0'

while the room is occupied set the OccupiedStatus as '1'

Use simple UPDATE query for that.

UPDATE <tablename> SET OccupiedStatus = 1.

UPDATE <tablename> SET OccupiedStatus = 0.
