1. What is your salary expectation?
A nasty question, do not give the salary number to them exactly as every company have its own structure of salary. Telling your salary number may lead to loss of the interview. If you are fresher then instead, say something like, That's a tough question. Can you tell me the range for this position? In most cases, the interviewer, taken off guard, will tell you. If not, say that it can depend on the details of the job. Then give a wide range.If you guys are experienced then 25% to 35% increment is ideal, which is maintained by major of the reputed companies. If the responsibilities is more as compared to your previous company then you can demand for 30% to 40% more with respect to your salary
2. Do you have qualities of Team player, if yes then whats your see in team player?
Be sure you have an example ready. In your college days if you have ever been be any organizer, member of events you can say to them. Getting the scope of work and analysis of each member in the team can be key point. Every member has its own quality someone is good communication, other can be good in writing codes, others can be good in analysis. so be prepare with better content.
3. If you are hired, how long would you expect to work for us?
Be simple as the company is giving you work for your talent so be oblige to them. So here you can say 'as long time as I can serve'. As work is worship its always feel fantastic to do deeds for serving the people with my skills and work.
4. Have you ever had to fire anyone?
This is serious question, this question will be generally asked by the senior developer, managers, team leader without reason you cannot fire anyone. If you have never fired anyone then the answer would be 'NO', otherwise you can say 'When it comes to the organization versus the individual who has created a harmful situation, you will protect the organization'. Remember firing is not the same as layoff or reduction in force.
5. What is your philosophy towards work?
The interviewer is not looking for long answer or any example. Do you have strong feelings that the job gets done? Yes. That's the type of answer that works best here. Short and positive, showing a benefit to the organization.
