I was working as a software engineer in a mid scale company, on sharepoint and c# but I did not had any proper training on development and on sharepoint administration. I was put in to support kinda of work , did not get a chance to learn anything properly neither administration nor development and I quit that job . Now I am finding it very difficult to clear the interviews and I am confused dont know what to do. So I kindly request you to suggest me what to do further to build my career.

Thanking you.

Hi Shaan,
I have quoted this my response to one of the questions on career advice previously, 'Don't take decisions when you are unhappy and never promise when you are happy'. I feel that a decision on quitting the job was due the fact that you were disappointed with your current job role. In reality, only few people get a chance to work on what they like working on. So, donot expect everything while on job. You will need to invest your personal time to improve your technical capabilities and attend interviews.
Good Luck!
