which one i choose .net or php
i'm kumar from chennai.now i'm working as a php programmer (7 months experience).
now i want to switch my domain to .net(because more no of people told me that .net has more no of jobs in mnc 's and as a php programmer u can't get salary like .net )
pls help me....

PHP is good and many of the open source web development happens in that area. Also, PHP is widely used internationally as well.
But to make a career you need to switch to .NET or Java as these are two technologies widely used in enterprises for large scale web development.
PHP is as or more widely used but the opportunity in India is very less. But if you master ASP.NET along with it, then you are in for a golden opportunity as well as that builds up your foundation quite nicely.
So, use your PHP knowledge and switch to .NET as quickly as possible.
