Sainath's Advice on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 :
Hi,

It is never advisable to take a break and prepare - my observation has been that this usually does not work. Whatever preparation you need to do has to happen alongside with your current job responsibilities. Taking a break will eventually put pressure on you and you may not be able to do full justice and learn new skills. Moreover, the IT field demands that you learn to put in 1 hour towards upgrading skills everyday somehow, irrespective of your workload.
