I have completed BE in (E&C) in 2010.I have got 58% aggregate in my engineering. As I am a Fresher ,planning to do career oriented course. one of my friend suggested to do ITIL v3 certification. Should I do ITIL V3 Certification? If so, what are the Job Oppurtunities for ITIL certified person? What about the Future growth? What would be the package an ITIL Certified Fresher can Expect?

Kindly answer for the above questions & thank you in advance

ITIL basically targets the IT Service Delivery aspect, if you are interested in working in IT Infrastructure Support which includes handling desktops, networks, servers, data communications, etc making a start by clearing the ITIL V3 makes sense. What area of IT are you interested in, programming, networking, system administration, server management, etc? Decide on your area of interest first and then start targeting certifications and not the other way round.
