I don't know whether its a right place to raise this question. I got so many career advise from dotnetfunda experts. So i am expecting the same again.
I am planning to start a new s/w company. Currently i am having 2 years of experience in .net technology. Is it a suitable time to start or i need to wait for sometime? I wanted to know the procedure of starting a company in India. I mean how much it is going to cost for registration? Is there any other Criteria for that?

Hi,

Difficult question to answer - particularly because I cannot consider myself an entrepreneur at this point. However, below is my opinion in this regard. Usually, there are 2 kinds of entrepreneurs - the 1st kind is the type who learn each aspect of running an enterprise working for other people and eventually go on to build their own enterprise. Applying this logic, it may be too early for you to start a company. The advantage here is that you can observe what works, what doesn't, what's required to succeed as a business owner, etc.The 2nd and more interesting type of entrepreneurs are the people who follow an idea and take it to financial success in a free market economy - for example, Bill Gates did not work for anyone, but his business acumen is legendary. One more important statistic - usually entrepreneurs fail in 6 ventures before finally going on to succeed big time in the 7th business venture, so persistence is needed to succeed.

For the financial aspects of starting a company, registering the same, etc you need to speak to a finance professional, Chartered Accountant, who will give you precise details.
