SharePoint Project

I am a new member of this great site. I am really surprised how wonderfully you guys have answered all those
queries asked by other members. I really got indepth satisfaction while reading those answers.
Myself having 3.8 Years exp on .Net. Looking to switch over SharePoint. Please
suggest the right path,links and more importantly some Projects built upon SharePoint.

Thanks for your kind and timely suggestions. I am also looking for doing part time M.B.A from FMS (Delhi University). Would it be wiser for me doing so ? I also want doing my major in Finance. Would it be better ? Again what would be the prospect on the professional front ?
