Hello,I have 1.5 yr of experience in .net with c# as a software developer. Now i joined a new company here i have to work on DotNetNuke technology. In DNN VB is used as a backend langguage. I dont know the future scope for dot net nuke. Personnally i dont like VB and very confused about shifting to dot net nuke. Please advice me about selelcting dotnetnuke as a career ....Thanks in advance.

Sainath's Advice on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 :

Dotnetnuke cannot be considered as a stand-alone career option. However, it is one of the most widely adopted content management solutions and very successful as well. It is definitely considered as an option when organizations consider implementing a CMS solution.Knowledge of DNN will help you get placed in projects of this type. Also, as per the link below, DNN is also shifting towards C#

In summary, I will say that it is good to know Dotnetnuke to enhance your basket of skills but it cannot be considered a career option in itself.
