I am a dot net guy having 7 Years of Development exp (and I like this ) and currently working as a Lead Developer in MNC. The Next step is to become a Tech Lead and then Architect as per my Current organization hierarchy. I am also thinking of going for PMP as an alternate option as Non-Technical to become a Project manager. But that take 10+ years of Exp as of now. Just wanted to know which option is better at this point of time as I am technically sound too but want to be a Good Manager down the line.
Please open your mind and throw suggestions...Thanks.

Hi,

Your first priority is to become a Tech Lead - that is usually the correct point (fork in the road) when you will need to finally decide whether to go ahead on the architecture path or the project management path. The question has already been answered in detail before, please go through the below link
