Hi ,

I am a .Net developer with 4yrs experience, recently i got a offer for sql developer in the banking domain. Can i choose with this offer , if i go how would be the scope in future. can any one suggest .net or sql or work in both will be best?.

Ideally work in both will be best, but to start with this seems to be a good opportunity. Working as sql developer on a banking domain is one of the best opportunity you can get.

This will be priceless for your career ahead... So, grab with both hands. The only thing to remember is don't get lazy and stop upgrading.

Always be updated, learn some skills weekly and you will be good to go.

you already worked in front end 4 years so for at least work one year in back end(DB) you have better future.Domain also very good and attractive domain banking domain all MNC have banking domain so your scope will be broad i am also working in financial domain but in front end trying to learn back end

note in what you are working is not a matter try to learn the domain is the important

This is prathap , My suggestion is don't move to banking domain ,becoz there have only use sql domain ,then also not to learn lot from banking domain , this is my suggestion,Please think and do ....
