Hello,
I have nearly 6 yrs and 5 mths of exp. in SEO. 5 yrs 7 months in a reputed firm. There I became Asst. manager also. Then I had to leave for some personal reason for one and a half year gap and then I started with a very small firm (more of a computer institute) as an SEO. Now I wanted to switch my career to some other career as in ITIL service Delivery. Pls let me know if I clear the ITIL foundation certificate, would i be able to get a job in this area ? Also what all skills do we require apart from knowing the processes ? I dont know if the company would be considering the resume as my exp. is completely different. Pls help.

Hi,
I have already answered your question partly as a response to another question posted by you. In terms of soft skills, verbal and written communication skills, ability to track issues, etc are important. In terms of hard skills, it depends upon the kind of client on whose behalf you will be working. The point is, a start can definitely be made and definitely qualified ITIL professionals having real-world experience of being part of successful ITIL implementations definitely have a career path ahead of them. But in the initial stages, you may need to put in a little bit of effort for a year or so.
