Hi,
I have about 7 yrs experience in dotnet. Though i had a break of 2 years i was able to manage to get into development luckily. but again unfortunately i met with an accident and had ankle crack. this did not allow me to move out at all and since i donot have work from home option in my company i had to quit again.
I left my recent past company in feb and now i am totally recovered. but the painful thing is though i clear technical i am not being offered.
advise me how should i approach ... i am being pointed that i had a break before and now 2 months. the previous break was due to my family commitments which is a genuine one for ladies. but again, donot what to say.. i am going frustrated with out a job at home now.

Dear Samyuktha,
If you are being pointed out for your previous break, there are few options for you in my opinion.
- Utilize these time at home to enhance your skills in .NET. Like learn new versions of the technologies that are coming in these days eg. ASP.NET 4.5, ASP.NET MVC 4, C#, SQL Server 2012, Business Intelligence (SSIS, SSRS ...) etc. If you do not know HTML5, CSS3, jQuery then go for it. These are the technologies that are going to rule in coming years. I feel there is still a huge demand of really technical person and if you are able to convince/impress the interviewer with your technical knowledge, no one cares about break. Your break might be an excuse for them to reject you.
Remember that everyday, every moment you read/practice something, you learn something and this helps you in your career.
- If the above option doesn't work for you (however I feel it will work for sure), try to go to the company where you have reference of your friends or relatives.
Good luck and keep learning and sharing!

Sheo Sir,
I have accepted a Corporate Trainer offer thinking that i will have a strong touch with technical side always.
I really donto know if it is wrong or good decision for future.some people say you cannot come back to development anymore. Is it really true.
