Hi,

I was a software developer in .net having 5 years of experience and I have just worked on only .net and not any other technologies in .net. I have a year break now in my career and wanted to get back to the industry. I feel that I am good at SQl than .net so I am thiniking should I learn some ETL tool like Informatica and try on Database side or learn other technologies in .net and continue my career in .net. So please advice me in this regard.

Thanks,
Satya

Deeraj's Advice on Saturday, March 15, 2014 :

Hi Satya, Don't ever lose your current experience. Starting from the scratch on a new technology is good for learning. However, you may not find a job quickly because you lack experience. Try to continue on your current technology. Invest additional time and try to master your current technology. Cheers, Dheeraj.
